What is the Evaluation Score for the TOEFL ?

In TOEFL, the score range is from 0-30. You will be evaluated on the basis of your score in the four sections: Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. Students receive a score card with detailed feedback on the overall performance. The average score needed for most Universities is between 80 & 90.

How long are TOEFL iBT scores valid?

TOEFL scores are valid for two years after the test date. The Department of Immigration and Border Protection recognises English test results for three years from the test date for skilled migration applications.

How often can I take the TOEFL Exam?

There is no limit to the number of times an individual can take the test, but they cannot take it more than once in a 12-day
period.

What is the minimum score required to clear the TOEFL ?

The scores are provided on a scale of 0-30 for each section where scores ranging between 0-14 is considered low, score between 15-21 is considered as intermediate and score between 22-30 is considered high. The eligibility citeria for selection of  a student in any university depends upon the TOEFL score which can vary for each University.

What is the difference between TOEFL iBT and TOEFL PBT ?

TOEFL iBT is internet based test and is evaluated online whereas TOEFL PBT is an offline test which is paper based . In India most centers conduct TOEFL iBT.

How and when do I get my TOEFL scores?

The TOEFL Scores are posted online approximately 10 days after the test date. Every student is provided with an log in ID using which you can check your scores online
